Person Bio turns your résumé and career story into one link that both people and AI can read. You get a clean résumé, a public page at yourname.person.bio, an interactive career story, and an always-current resume.md — and you can build and update all of it just by chatting with the AI you already use.
Job seekers, students and new grads, career changers, and working professionals who want a living, shareable presence instead of a stale PDF. Recruiters can use it too with an employer account.
Yes, free to start — build your résumé, claim your page, and connect your AI at no cost. A few conveniences are capped on the free tier (for example, PDF exports are limited to 2 per month). You never need a paid plan to create and share your profile.
About two minutes. Connect your AI (or open the builder), say "build my résumé from this," and your page goes live at yourname.person.bio.
Both. Paste a messy doc or your old résumé and your AI writes a clean, recruiter-ready version — or open the builder and fill it in section by section. You can start from nothing and just talk it into existence.
Your résumé is the structured document (experience, skills, education) you export as a PDF or share as resume.md. Your bio page (yourname.person.bio) is the public, Linktree-style profile that ties it all together — résumé, story, links, blog, and "Ask Me" in one place.
Yes — choose one of three templates (Default, Modern, or Minimal), tweak the accent colors, and download a clean PDF résumé ready to send. On the free tier you can export up to 2 PDFs per month.
An interactive, visual timeline of your career — the thing that makes "tell me about yourself" easy to answer. Your AI can help turn a long, rambling story into tidy chapters, and you can generate a polished self-introduction from it for interviews, networking, or your LinkedIn About.
Yes. Publish short insights on your own subdomain to show expertise — so you're known for what you know, not just your job title. Your AI can draft posts for you; you choose whether to save as a draft or publish.
It lets Claude or ChatGPT read and update your Person Bio profile directly from your chat. Instead of logging into a dashboard, you just say "add this job" or "rewrite my summary," and it's done on your live profile — with your approval on each change.
Claude (web, desktop, and mobile) via a free custom connector; ChatGPT via our custom GPT; Cursor and other MCP-capable tools via the same connector; and any AI that can read a link, using your resume.md URL.
No. The Claude custom connector works on Claude's free plan, and free ChatGPT accounts can use our custom GPT. Paid plans only add nice-to-haves (like Claude's advanced companion), not the core experience.
Add our custom connector: in Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste your Person Bio MCP URL, and sign in when prompted. It then works across Claude web, desktop, and mobile, and updates automatically. The full step-by-step lives in your dashboard under "Connect to AI."
Open our published custom GPT and start chatting — the first time you ask it to read or change your profile, it prompts you to sign in to Person Bio. Free ChatGPT accounts can use it.
A one-file, one-click install for Claude Desktop — the same tools as the connector, packaged as a downloadable extension. Handy if you're desktop-first. Install it via Claude Desktop → Settings → Extensions → Install Extension.
Yes, as an advanced option: a Claude Code plugin that can proactively offer to add your wins during any chat (you tap "Add it"). It's the richest experience but needs a paid Claude plan, so it's not required — the free connector and GPT cover everything most people need. It only ever writes with your approval, and it does not watch your GitHub, calendar, or work in the background.
It's an always-current, AI-readable copy of your résumé at a link (yourname.person.bio/resume.md). Paste it into any chatbot — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini — and ask for a tailored cover letter, interview prep, or job matches. No uploads, never out of date.
Absolutely. You can build and edit your résumé, page, story, and blog entirely on the website and download a PDF or vCard. Connecting an AI just removes the busywork and keeps everything current.
Every profile gets a clean link at yourname.person.bio. You decide what appears — résumé, life journey, blog, "Ask Me," and a "Save contact" button. Your résumé and story are public only if you mark them public, and the contact button (which shares your phone and email) is off by default.
Yes. Items you haven't marked public aren't viewable by link, and you can password-protect your public résumé or story so only people with the password can open them.
Your public page lives on its own indexable subdomain with proper sitemaps, so it can show up in search. And because your resume.md is AI-readable, assistants can surface and summarize you too.
Only what you choose to make public — everything starts private by default. Connections use secure sign-in (OAuth), show you a consent screen, and ask before making changes. To disconnect a connected assistant, remove Person Bio from that assistant's own connectors list in Claude or ChatGPT — access stops immediately. In your Person Bio account you can also view and revoke any personal API tokens you created for local or manual setups.
You can delete your account at any time, after which we delete or anonymize your personal information (except where the law requires us to keep something). We do not sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy at /p/privacy-policy for the specifics.
Yes — browse listings and apply with your Person Bio profile, and track the jobs you've applied to from your dashboard. If you mark yourself open to work, you can be discoverable to employers using talent search; you stay in control of what's visible.
Register an employer account with your work email (kept separate from any personal profile). You get a dedicated employer connector to post jobs, review applicants, and search talent — from inside your own AI or on the site.
Check your spam folder first. If it still hasn't arrived after a few minutes, request a new link from the sign-in screen, or contact us and we'll help.
Just ask it to do the task — if it needs sign-in, the prompt appears automatically (an assistant can't actually see your sign-in state, so ignore it if it guesses). If a connection acts up, remove and re-add the connector, or toggle it off and on. Choosing "Always allow" on the first tool prompt avoids repeat prompts.
Reach us via the Contact page at /contact — we're happy to help with setup, connections, or anything else.
